This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visitCozy Small Spaces (the "Site"). We have tried to write it in plain English. If something is unclear, email us athello@thecozysmallspaces.com.

The short version

We do not ask you for your name, email address or any other personal detail. We do not run a newsletter. We do not run display advertising. The Site sets no advertising cookies of its own. The main way your data moves is when you click an affiliate link and land on a retailer's website, where that retailer's own privacy policy takes over.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Only what you choose to send us by email. If you write to us, we keep the message so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Information collected automatically

The Site is a set of static files served by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard server request data — your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, your browser's user agent string and the referring page — in order to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse. We use this only in aggregate, to see which posts people read. Vercel's handling of that data is described in theVercel privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cozy Small Spaces does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Two other sources may set them in your browser:

Affiliate networks. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or its network (Amazon Associates, Awin for Etsy, Impact for Walmart) sets a cookie so that any purchase you make can be attributed to this Site. These cookies typically expire between 24 hours and 30 days after the click, depending on the program.
Pinterest. Our pages load Pinterest's pinit.jsscript so that a "Save" button appears on images. Loading that script contacts Pinterest's servers and may set Pinterest cookies. See thePinterest privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not break the Site — at most, a purchase you make will not be credited to us.

Third parties we send traffic to

When you click a product button you leave this Site. We have no control over and take no responsibility for the content, policies or practices of those destinations. Their policies:

How long we keep things

Server request logs are retained by our host for a short rolling period and then discarded. Emails you send us are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing". Because we do not collect personal information beyond what is described above, in most cases the answer to a request will be that we hold nothing about you.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
EU/UK visitors (GDPR). Where we process data such as server logs, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Do Not Track

We do not track visitors across other websites, so we take no action in response to Do Not Track browser signals.

Changes to this policy

If we add analytics, a newsletter or display advertising in future, we will update this page before those features go live and change the "last updated" date above.
